Omotayo grew up in Lagos, Nigeria listening to a myriad of indigenous and foreign bands, with an especial ear for the R&B classics and his formative years circled around creative writing and honing his musical skills in different but now defunct music groups. Recording demos at a time when the threshold of contemporary Nigerian music met its break in the early 2000 but it was more than passion that drove his wheels. Omotayo's sound is a lifetime of experiences carved in western tunes and African rhythms. His smooth falsetto will give Maxwell a run for his money. Omotayo doesn’t just sing…he lives through every note.
